Philippine Election for 2013 will be on May 13,2013 (Monday) that will be the 31st Senate Election. Starting January 13,2013 the Comelec imposed a what we call "gunban" for the purpose of crime and killing events during election period.
The Comelec provided checkpoints in many different areas to monitor and sustain the peace and order within the Philippine archipelago.
Gunban Period
During gunban there will be "ban on the carrying of firearms outside residences across the Philippines" and suspends all permit to carry firearms in public areas but also have an exemptions only for those on top officials,on duty police and troops and also for the people who have a threats in their life.
Election Crime
The election in the in the Philippines cannot be avoided to have a crime and killings between the opposing parties and also between families because of different principles.
Election Day
May 13,2013 will be the Election day. We, a citizen of the Philippines should vote wisely and choose a good public servant. Some of us cannot vote in this election because they are far from their voting areas and work in other places.
